Mena Alexandera is an American actor, model and designer. Born on 13 February 1979. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as a film actor on Nowhere. With her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to be awarded the BAFTA Award - and American Pie, which garnered more attention from the public as she stepped into more prominent roles. She's appeared alongside the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) as well as the role of lead for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun the independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thriller were both prominent in her work. She also starred in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit in 2004, and in 2005, the Screen Actors Guild awarded her the title of one of the most outstanding stars.
